Fresh Start Women's Foundation

Fresh Start is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women help themselves. They do that through the work of the Jewell McFarland Lewis-Fresh Start Women’s Resource Center. Leidan Mitchell Salons participate in the Fresh Start Fashion Gala each year, and the salons’ partners, Jacki and Phil Tatman and Erin and Jim Essert are actively involved in several of the organizations boards and committees.

Nascar Angels

The NASCAR Angels hit the road with a simple mission: to help people and to fix broken cars. It's Extreme Home Makeover meets Pimp My Ride, NASCAR-style. The twist? The Angels dream team has only three days to complete the entire project. With the help of NASCAR partners, the NASCAR Angels fix rides and give people a NASCAR experience they'll never forget. Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while. That's NASCAR Angels ... transforming cars, enhancing lives. During the production season, Leidan Mitchell sends a team member to each taping of the show - no matter where in the country that might take place - to provide hair and makeup services for NASCAR Angels’ host, Shannon Wiseman.

Board of Visitors

The Board of Visitors is dedicated to serving the health care needs of women, children and the elderly in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2008, The Board of Visitors is Arizona's oldest charitable organization.

Fashion Shows

Leidan Mitchell Salons happily participate in annual fashion events that support Fresh Start Women’s Foundation, the Board of Visitors and Xavier and Brophy College Preparatories, and are honored to build strong staff and community partnerships.
